Community Leader|Peacebuilder|Social Development Practitioner based in Bukavu, South Kivu (DRC). Co-founder of Tabitha Home of Hope and Peace and manager of the Dorothee Orphanage, supporting 55 vulnerable children through education, snitation, psychosocial care, feeding, clothing and peacebuilding initiatives. His work focuses on empowering orphans, vulnerable youth, and widows to build resilient and peaceful communities. Bienfait MAKALA is a University Senior Lecturer and Researcher Teaching English as a Foreign Language at ISP-Uvira and UEA-Bukavu in the DRC. He taught English for more than 10 years in some Congolese secondary schools before he shifted to University Teaching. Besides his academic Training in English, He has been trained in other domains like Adult Teaching, Quality Education, Peace Education, Development Projects Designing and Management, etc. Over the past years, Bienfait Makala has worked as a Consultant to facilitate English to Agents of some NGOs (LICO, ICCO, COOPI) and some UN Agencies (UNICEF &UNDP) in Bukavu. Through this experience, he has worked with some UN Expatriates and adapted himself to Multinational cultures. Besides, He oftentimes works with Organizations as an English Language Interpreter and Translator. Thanks to his trainings and experiences in Project Designing and Management, He has worked as Project Manager one Local Non-Profit Organization named UNIJECRE-DRC, Founded and worked as CEO of Tabitha Home of Hope & Peace-DRC and as HR Manager and Researcher for Conservation Beyond Borders-DRC. Currently he is committed to working as Executive Director for A Most Prefect Love Foundation-African Mission. He is passionate with building Hope & Peace for the most Desperate, Youth Peace Education, Food Security and Climate change to build Peaceful Vibrant Communities (PVC) where Love+Hope+Peace is a reality.

Rural Development and Community Health Professional with expertise in rural communication, youth capacity building, data collection and analysis, and monitoring and evaluation of community-based projects. She holds a degree in Rural Development from ISDR Bukavu and has solid experience in implementing community programs and mentoring youth in the Democratic Republic of Congo. South Kivu, Bukavu – DRC

He is a community development activist and peace builder born in Uvira-South Kivu. Born in a very poor family, Judite grew thanks to family realtive help. Due to the hardships she underwent nearly all her youth life, Judite joined community development rural women associations since 2015. She has gained experiences in women empowerment and capacity building and community-based actions. She joined and co-founded Tabitha Home of Hope and Peace-DRC since 2023 in Bukavu, South Kivu-DRC. She is doing a wondeful job as a social worker and both women adviser and child-protector.
